What is RSS?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It’s a simple way to distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes content to a wide number of people. RSS is used by computer programs that organize those headlines and notices for easy reading. These programs are called “feed readers” or “news aggregators”.

What is a feed reader?
Think of a feed reader as a web browser for RSS content. Feed readers automatically check a series of RSS feeds for new items on an ongoing basis, making it possible to keep track of changes at multiple websites without having to revisit the sites themselves.

  • Feed readers detect the new additions and present them all together to you in a compact and useful manner.
  • If the title and description of an item are of interest to you, you can click on the link to the related web page.
