Debra Brown Promoted to CEO of TMX Interactive, Bringing Years of Marketing Strategy Expertise to the Role
CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., March 18 -- TMX Interactive (TMX), an independent technology, marketing and award-winning creative agency, announces the promotion of Debra Brown to CEO, effective March 2, 2009.
Prior to joining TMX as President in April of 2007, Debra played key roles in leading multi- functional teams and leveraging integrated resource groups as both a client and agency executive. Her expertise took her from c-suite positions on Madison Avenue to VP of Marketing at Dun and Bradstreet, with a digital start up in between. Debra's pronounced understanding of the role of digital in marketing and sales force effectiveness was the right complement for TMX and built upon their B2B, Financial Services and Healthcare heritage. Her addition to the company brought the strength of strategic marketing to a heritage of technology leadership.
As TMX Interactive celebrates their 10th year in business with a "Thrive, not just survive" philosophy, the company is leveraging recent successes with their technology and scaling to suit opportunities caused by sales force reductions, reduced spending in mass marketing and an increased focus on the efficiencies of B2B interactive communications. Debra's promotion is integral to the acceleration of internet strategy in their clients' businesses.
